Shotgun Surgery was formed in the Black Forest of Germany in 2018 when three hard-drinking, work-shy young men met and started making music together.

The style was quickly found: it had to groove and not be too soft. With the right amount of punk and doom, the songs went down well.

This was followed by smaller gigs and the recording of the debut album Shiteater.

When singer and guitarist Sergej and drummer Michael independently decided to move to the north, bassist Johnny was not enthusiastic and could not be persuaded to leave the Black Forest. So Miguel joined the group in Bremen.

The three of them again, Shotgun Surgery have been delighting audiences with their fuzzy, driving dessert sound ever since.
